Funny Mountain---The Best "Tau Fu Hua" ever in Ipoh.

Today, we  visited Funny Mountain Soya Bean in Ipoh. Before going to there, we already heard that Funny Mountain is a "must try" dessert in Ipoh. We doubted that it may just some promotional strategy that was done by Funny Mountain itself.

However, we decided to tried!

"Funny Mountain" has been operating from generation to generation, sine 1952. The stall was first opened by Cliff's (the current shop owner) grandmother. The family recipe offers the Tau Fu Fah its special texture. The stall is also known as "Kei Foong", which is located adjacent to "Restaurant Foh San" (one of the famous dim sum restaurant).

Tau Fu Fah or better known as soya bean curd is one of the chinese traditional dessert which served in sweet syrup. Tau Fu Fah in Ipoh, claimed to be real tasty due to the Ipoh's mountain water.

Drive-Thru Service

We tried its special drive-thru service. It really quite impressed us that it provided drive-thru service. We found that there are limited parking space there therefore the drive-thru service has solved the customers problems to buy the "Tau Fu Fah".

Tau Fu Fah

Undoubtedly, the Tau Fu Fah really tastes good. It is really very smooth. You can feel the smoothness and sweet texture gliding down the throat and it is not very sweet. If you are looking for very special and good taste Tau Fu Fah then you must try this!

Soya Milk

Besides, Tau Fu Fah, the soya bean milk is another top selling dessert of Funny Mountain. It is not like other soya bean milk, when you drink it, you will able to taste the soya flavor because they use the best soya bean to make it.

Price of Funny Mountain Soya Bean

The price is very reasonable. RM 1.20 for either a bowl of Tai Fu Fah or a glass of soya bean milk. Previously, the price is only RM 0.80. No wonder it is attracting throngs of customers. Although it is cheap, the portion portion given is rather a bit small. So, to enjoy more, you can order another glass or bowl.
